Etsy Stats provide you with data for your shop. With Stats, you can see how your shop is performing, where your traffic to your shop comes from and how shoppers are engaging with your listings.

To see your Stats:
- On Etsy.com, choose Shop Manager.
- Choose Stats.

Metrics overview
In your metrics overview, you can see your shop-level data. Select a metric to see its graph:
- Visits
- Orders
- Conversion rate
- Revenue
Use the dropdown at the top of the page to select the time period you want to see stats for. You can view your shop stats from November 2017 to the present.
If your shop has been open for more than a year, you can see your data compared to the previous year by toggling Compare to previous period on.
When you select a metric, you’ll see how it’s trending over the time period you selected.
What is the difference between visits and views?
Visits represent the number of people who looked at your shop or listings. Views tell you the total times people looked at each of your listings. For example if one shopper landed on your listing through search, then viewed five other listings, this would count as one visit and six listing views.

How many times do visits update per day?
Visits data refreshes a few times per day. This lets us filter out as much bot traffic (traffic from search engines and not actual shoppers) as possible and collect your visit data as a whole. You can see when your data was last refreshed at the top of the page.
Why are my visits lower by the end of the day?
We filter out bot traffic again at the end of the day, which may lower your visit count.
How shoppers found you
How shoppers found you breaks down where shoppers who visited your shop came from.
You can see how much of your shop traffic Etsy brought through Etsy search, Etsy app & other Etsy pages, and Etsy marketing & SEO.
You can see how much traffic You brought through other sources, like Direct & other traffic, Social media, Etsy Ads, and Offsite Ads. Learn how to use your stats to boost your social media traffic.
The arrows next to the visits for each traffic source show how traffic for that source changed over the time period you selected.

What’s the difference between advertising clicks on the Etsy Ads dashboard and Etsy Ads visits on shop Stats?
There are a couple of reasons why your Etsy Ads clicks and Etsy Ads visits may be different:
- Ad clicks count the number of times people click on your ad. If a shopper clicks on the ad twice in a 30 minute period, it would count as one visit.
- In the How shoppers found you section, Etsy Ads doesn’t include people that visited your shop through ads on the Etsy app.
How do I see the search terms that shoppers used to find my shop?
Choose Etsy search under How shoppers found you to see what search terms people used to find your listings.
How are Offsite Ads attributed to orders in my shop?
If a buyer clicks through an offsite ad promoting one of your listings and then purchases from your shop within 30 days, that order(s) will be attributed to the ad. You’re only charged when a shopper clicks on an ad for one of your listings and purchases from your shop. If a shopper clicks on an ad for your item but doesn’t make a purchase within 30 days, you don’t pay a fee. If you make a sale from an ad featuring another seller’s items, then you don’t pay an advertising fee.
You can see how orders are attributed to offsite ads on your Offsite Ads dashboard. On the Offsite ads dashboard, you can see:
- The ad/listing the buyer clicked on
- The day the buyer clicked on the ad
- Which channel or website the buyer clicked through
- Which listing(s) they ended up purchasing after clicking the ad
- The order number and date purchased by the buyer
Shoppers viewed your listings
See how many shoppers viewed and ordered your listings. Choose All listings to select what type of listing you want to see, like expired or sold out listings. For each listing, you can see:
- Views
- Favorites
- Orders
- Revenue
Select a metric to organize your listings.
For a more detailed look at listing performance, select an individual item. Only active listings appear in this list.
Listing views are updated in real-time.
What timezone are my Stats shown in?
Hourly stats from today, yesterday, or the past two days are in your own time zone. All other time frames appear in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). You can change your time zone by choosing Update time zone at the bottom of Explore your data.

Stats on the Etsy Seller App
To see your Stats on the Etsy Seller App:
- Choose More from the bottom navigation menu.
- Select Stats.
From here you can find:

Your Metrics Overview: Scroll right and left to view graphs for your Total Visits, Total Orders, Total Revenue, and Conversion Rate. To see how each metric compares year-over-year, toggle on Compare to last year.
- How buyers found you this week: View where your traffic came from over the last seven days across various sources like Direct Traffic, Etsy Search, Etsy Ads, and Social Media.

Listing stats over the last 7 days: See how your listings are performing at a glance over the last 7 days, including Views, Orders, Revenue, and Favorites. Your listings here are sorted by highest view count. Select View all listing stats to filter your listings by timeframe, listing status, and change how they're sorted.
- Shop engagement: See how buyers interact with your shop, including which items they've favorited and who followed your shop.

Etsy Stats provide you with data for your shop. With Stats, you can see how your shop is performing, where your traffic to your shop comes from and how shoppers are engaging with your listings.
How to read your Advertising statsOn your Advertising page, you can see the performance of your ad campaign. Next to each listing that you advertise, you can see stats about its performance.
You can also see your advertising data in your Shop Stats.
In Stats, clicks on Etsy Ads from desktop browsers are reported as Advertising. Clicks on Etsy Ads from the Etsy app are reported as the Etsy app & other Etsy pages.
When a shopper searches on Etsy, our system scans titles, tags, and attributes for listings that match their search and their profile on Etsy. We use this information and more to show the most relevant listings for that shopper’s search query.
Search results are unique to who is searching. Your Stats are the most accurate place to check how your listings are performing in search.
If you search for your listings on Etsy, you may not always see your own listings, or see shifts in your listings' placement over time.
If your listings aren’t performing as well as you’d like, try refreshing your titles and tags.
A drop in visits to your shop or sales can mean any number of things, such as increased competition, changing trends, a shift in purchasing behavior, and more.
If you’re seeing a drop in your sales year over year, there are several things to look at to help boost your sales:
- Look at how you might improve your listing quality: From your Stats, track which keywords are generating the most traffic to your listings, and be sure to replace keywords that aren’t generating traffic with new ones.
- Follow retail trends to refresh or add to your product line: Trends change seasonally and over the years. To ensure that your Etsy Shop is performing the way you want it to, pay attention to the trends on Etsy and elsewhere online.
- Market your shop on social media: Social media is a great way to promote your shop and engage with customers for free. Learn how to boost your sales with social media marketing.
